Dalhousie is a famous and popular hill station in India, and it was founded by Lord Dalhousie in 1850 as a summer retreat. Rich in colonial architecture, the town has a few marvelous churches. The cool climate makes this place more attractive. Every year tourists come here to explore wooded hills, waterfalls, lakes, mountains. The freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose stayed for a month in Dalhousie. The two areas of Dalhousie that are Subhash Baoli and Subhash Chowk are named after him. The mall is a place where you can shop for shawls, traditional jewellery, Tibetan handicrafts, and many more things. It is 54 km from Chamba. The most interesting part of this Dalhousie is that it is a mini Switzerland in India. The ambiance and fresh air snowcapped give a good feel to you. Our package from Dalhousie to Dharamshala 5 day- four night trips start from arrival at pathankot railway station or kangra Airport . We give a pick-and-drop service from the station and airport. The area is surrounded by hills and huge trees. You can also explore the Ravi river, which is a very beautiful river in the town of Chamba. Khajjiar

Dharamshala

This place is not situated in Dharamshala per se but in Mcleodganj, a sleepy town around 10 km uphill. This complex is the house of the 14th Dalai Lama. Inside there is a small temple where you can explore monks in lively debate and the Tibet museum, which is the symbol of the Tibetan crisis). The complex also had a bookshop, cute cafe, and mini market. In the evening you can go to a St. John in the wilderness church, which was built in 1852, and the church is dedicated to John the Baptist. St. John in the Wilderness church is the best example of neo-Gothic architecture with its Belgian stained glass windows. Visit Dal lake, which is beautiful, and it's situated at a distance of around 8 km from the market. This lake is the best for picnics and for fishing. The other place is Dharamkot, which is a village and best for relaxation. This village is peaceful and best for those people who like peace. Don't forget to enjoy the Tibetan cuisine in Dharamshala. Here you can enjoy the different flavours of momos, thukpa, tingmo, and butter tea.
Shop In DharamshalaÂ
Dharamshala’s markets are gems where you can shop for everything for yourself or your loved ones. In this market you can see prayer flags, wheels, singing bowls, malas, jewelry, carpets, masks. All these items carry the nature of Tibetan faith and make for meaningful keepsakes. Buying these things reminds you of this place.
Festival of Tibetan
Dharamshala comes alive during Tibietan festival. This is a very colorful festival where people whorish first, then they celebrate by doing dance, music, and delicious food, providing a unique opportunity to prove the deep- rooted traditions and the fixed faith of the Tibetan people.
Dalhousie To Pathankot
On the last day, get up in the morning and enjoy your final breakfast in Dalhousie at the hotel. Check out from the hotel for the railway station or airport for your journey beyond. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and drop you at Pathankot railway station or Kangra Airport for your onward journey.
