06:30 AM – 08:30 AM | Taj Mahal

Begin your Agra sightseeing with one of the most iconic monuments of India, the world famous Taj Mahal.

Spend some time exploring the monument and its gardens and surrounding architectural details. The early morning light also offers excellent chances for photography.

Traveller Tip: Allow a bit extra time for security screening and for walking between the various sections of the monument complex.

8:30 AM – 9:30 AM | Breakfast Break

Breakfast at a suitable local restaurant or hotel after visiting the Taj Mahal.

Relax for some time and then go for Agra Sightseeing Tour.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Agra Fort

The next stop is the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the city’s most important historical sites.

Visit its grand gateways, courtyards, palaces and Mughal architecture. The fort also offers beautiful views of the Taj Mahal from certain places.

The Archeological Survey of India lists a number of important structures in the Agra Fort complex, including Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Khas Mahal and Moti Masjid.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Lunch Break

Take a short break and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

You can choose to have Indian, Mughlai, vegetarian or other cuisines as per your choice.

1:15 PM – 2:30 PM | Itmad-ud-Daulah

Continue on to your Agra Local Sightseeing and visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, which is popularly known as the “Baby Taj”.

The monument is known for its intricate marble work, decorative patterns and serene gardens. After the grand scale of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, it is a good addition to a one-day itinerary as it provides a different architectural experience.

2:45 PM – 3:45 PM | Local Market & Handicrafts

Enjoy some time experiencing the local shopping scene of Agra.

You can find shops with, depending on your interest:

• Marble handicrafts
• Mughal-style decorative items
• Traditional souvenirs
• Local handicrafts
• Agra’s famous food products

Shopping is optional and for travelers who want more sightseeing or a more relaxed pace this stop can be skipped.

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Mehtab Bagh – Optional

If time, weather and opening conditions permit, you can take a scenic view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River from Mehtab Bagh.

It is ideal for those travelers who like photography and peaceful views.

Note: Mehtab Bagh can be kept optional based on your travel schedule and preferred departure time.

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Tour Ends / Drop-Off

Post your Agra Local Sightseeing, your private vehicle will drop you to your desired location in Agra.

You can choose:

• Hotel drop-off
• Agra railway station drop-off
• Other preferred location

The vehicle can be planned for travellers who are continuing to another city as per the onward journey.
